Bio-OS, jointly developed by Guangzhou Laboratory and Volcano Engine, is a cloud-native bioinformatics operating system. It provides capabilities for data transfer, storage, management, and analysis across the entire workflow lifecycle — from preprocessing and processing to postprocessing. Centered on the concept of the workspace, Bio-OS enables research that is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR).

Built on GA4GH open standards, the platform offers curated datasets and tools, making genomic analysis seamless and scalable for every user.
